Savings Accounts

Traditional Share Account

Depositing $5.00 into a share account (savings) is the first step to WCCU membership.  All members, whether they are wanting to open a checking account, receive a loan or just cash their checks at our office, must have a minimum of $5.00 on deposit. 

Club Accounts

• Holiday Club - This account is designed to help our members save for the holiday by just setting aside as little as $5 per week!  You can make deposits yourself, or you can have your employer deposit a fixed amount directly to the account each pay period.  The money in the accounts earns a dividend and is transferred to your regular savings on October 1st, giving you plenty of time to get your holiday shopping started!  And remember, the sooner you begin making deposits, the more you will have by the next holiday season.  You can open a holiday club account at any time during the year.
  

• Vacation Club - This account is designed to help you set aside money each pay period to pay for your annual family vacation!  It's a great way to start planning now for that trip to Disney next year! 
  

Certificate Accounts

CD's are a great way to maximize the earnings on your deposit when you know you will not need the funds for a specific period of time.  We offer CD's ranging from 6 months up to 24 months, with a minimum deposit of $1000 required to open the account.

 Individual Retirement Accounts (IRA's)

WCCU offers both Traditional and Roth IRA accounts.  When you open an IRA, you will have the option of investing the funds in a traditional share/IRA account or an IRA certificate account.  We can discuss your options to help you find what options will work best for you. 

Pee Wee Banking through Harrison Elementary School

WCCU offers a youth savings program called Pee Wee banking for students of Harrison Elementary. Each year we go to the school and give out information about the program. Those who become Pee Wee members get to make deposits to their savings account each time we visit the school, plus they get a prize for making a deposit. At the end of the school year we hold a pizza party for the kids and have a grand prize drawing!
